Western Railway introduced Eyewatch Railways, this is and App for women security on Churchgate - Borivali Section. Following are the details regarding the app. 

Eyewatch Railways' Mobile App

Eyewatch Technologies Pvt.Ltd are working towards education and empowering the women citizens to better deal with the security challengers faced in the country and have released a crisis communication system "Eyewatch Railways" based on the smart mobile device. 

Eyewatch Railways assists the women commuters in their emergency to immediately send out their location, video and audio which can instantly be viewed on the emergency response control centre at the RPF Control room in Bombay Central. The 8 chosen guardians, doctors and security personnel also receive the alert data via SMS, automatically a phone call is placed to the guardians. 

Eyewatch App

Eyewatch Railways application has been customized for the Railway Police Force to dispatch an immediate response by sending a RPF personnel from the nearest station to help the Women Commuter. 

The application is Free of Cost for the women commuters on western Railways. The Geo-Fence of Western Railways is done along the suburban stations from Churchgate to Borivali, where the respective Jurisdiction would assist in providing quick response to the women in emergency. Multiple Training and Mock drills have been conducted at these posts and control with the Railway police force.

Features of Eyewatch

• Alert Button :- Pressing the alert button or simply pressing the power button 4 times Eyewatch Railways notifies the RPF Control and informs the users Call Guardians via SMS.
• Location Updation :- Activation of alert allows the RPF Control Center to view his/her constantly updated location untill He/she reaches at a safe destination.
• Audio/Visual Stream :- Eyewatch automatically records a upto 60 seconds pre-alert audio and 20 seconds post-alert video.
• Auto Call Connect:- Instantly dials user's priority Call Guardians.
• Alert Details :- Display's user's Audio/Video, current battery, network signal strength, blood group, type of emergency along with other important data that can be viewed on the web based Eyewatch Control Center located at the RPF Control Room.
• Safety Confirm :- Inform user's call guardians with location to confirm they are Safe.
