Western railways announced new Premium Special trains between Yeshwantpur and Jaipur to avoid extra rush of passengers during the season. Following are the details
- Train no 02695/02696 Yeshwantpur - Jaipur Premium Special Train:- Train No. 02695 Yeshwantpur- Jaipur Premium special train will depart from Yeshwantpur at 11:30 hrs on Thursday and reach Jaipur at 06:35 hrs on third day i.e Saturday. This train will run only for one day i.e Thursday, 11th December, 2014. Train No. 02696 Jaipur – Yeshwantpur Premium special train will depart from Jaipur at 22:15 hrs on Saturday and reach Yeshwantpur at 17:55 hrs on third day i.e Monday. This train will run only for one day i.e Saturday, 13th December, 2014. Stoppages:-at Tumkur, Bellary, Pune, Surat, and Ajmer station in both directions. Composition:- AC II Tier, AC III Tier and Second class sleeper Coaches.

South Central railways announced new premium special trains between Secuderabad and Nizamuddin to avoid extra rush of passengers during the season. Following are the details
- Train No. 02723 / 02724 Secunderabad – Hazrat Nizamuddin Premium Superfast Express train:-Train No. 02723 Secunderabad – Hazrat Nizamuddin Premium Superfast Express train will depart Secunderabad on 19th October, 2014 (Sunday) at 11:15 am and arrive Hazrat Nizamuddin at 03:00 pm on the next day. Train No. 02724 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Secunderabad Premium Superfast Express train will depart Hazrat Nizamuddin on 20th October, 2014 (Monday) at 05:05 pm and arrive Secunderabad at 09:25 pm on the next day. Stoppages:-Ramagundam, Nagpur, Bhopal, Jhansi and Agra Cantt in both the directions. Composition:- 16 Coaches viz., one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, ten Sleeper, one Pantry Car coach and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van coaches.

South Central railways Tatkal Ticket for Premium special trains details announced. Following trains will have this facility
- Train No. 12723 Hyderabad-New Delhi Andhra Pradesh Express
- Train No. 12721 Hyderabad-Hazrat Nizamuddin Dakshin Express
- Train No.12704 Secunderabad-Howrah Falaknuma Express
- Train No. 12785 Kacheguda-Bangalore Express
- Train No. 12791 Secunderabad-Patna Express
- Train No. 12728 Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam Godavari Express
- Train No. 17230 Hyderabad-Tiruvananthapuram Sabari Express
50 % of Existing Tatkal Quota for Seven Trains on SCR To be Available as Premium Tatkal with Dynamic Pricing – Bookings Through E-Ticket only.
Ministry of Railways has decided that 50 % of the existing Tatkal quota ticket shall be sold under dynamic fare scheme. After booking of the first 50% of the tatkal quota under the present tatkal scheme, the subsequent 50% of the tatkal quota, defined as premium tatkal quota shall be issued on dynamic pricing. This scheme shall be operational in identified trains with effect from 1st October, 2014 onwards.
This scheme of premium tatkal berths through dynamic pricing shall be distance-slab based fare scheme where the fare shall increase by 20% after each slab of 10% berths are sold subject to the existing cap (maximum fare chargeable) on dynamic fare. All rules for the tatkal quota and premium train services shall be applicable to the premium tatkal quota also.

Central railways announced new special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Darbhanga to avoid extra rush of passengers during the Diwali festival season. Following are the details
- Train No. 02049 / 02050 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Darbhanga premium special train:- Train No. 02049 premium special train will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on every Saturday from 4.10.2014 to 8.11.2014 at 07.50 hrs and arrive Darbhanga at 16.45 hrs next day.Train No.02050 premium special train will leave Darbhanga on every Monday from 6.10.2014 to 10.11.2014 at 11.00 hrs and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 23.15 hrs next day. Stoppages: Kalyan, Jabalpur, Chheoki, Mughalsarai and Patna. Composition: one AC-2tier, Two AC-3 tier, 12 sleeper class and one pantry car.
IRCTC Online Reservation will open on 24.9.2014 for train No. 02049 leaving on 4.10.2014 and for trains leaving subsequently will open with Advance Reservation Period of 10 days (excluding the day of Journey)
