CHENNAI LOCAL TRAIN LINE BLOCK :: FEB 2014

South railways announced that Chennai Local trains will face block as per following changes will be made in train services. 

On 26.02.2014 (Wednesday): 

• Train No.12635 Chennai Egmore – Madurai Vaigai Express scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 13.20 hrs. will leave Chennai Egmore late by 60 minutes.
• Train No.16351 Mumbai CST – Nagercoil (bi-weekly) Express will be regulated at Chengalpattu for 80 minutes.
• Train No.16854 Tiruchchirappalli – Chennai Egmore express scheduled to leave Tiruchchirappalli at 09.35 hrs. will leave Tiruchchirappalli late by 60 minutes.
• Train No. 56041/56042 Tirupati – Puducherry – Tirupati passenger and 56037/56038 Chennai Egmore – Puducherry – Chennai Egmore passenger trains will be partially cancelled between Melmaruvathur and Puducherry.
• Train No.66045/66046 Melmaruvathur – Villupuram – Melmaruvathur (MEMU) passenger trains will be fully cancelled.
• Train No. 12605 Chennai Egmore – Karaikkudi Pallavan Express scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 15.45 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave Chennai Egmore late by 45 minutes.
• Train No.16105 Chennai Egmore – Tiruchendur express scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 16.05 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave Chennai Egmore late by 40 minutes.

On 27.02.2014 (Thursday):

• Train No.12635 Chennai Egmore – Madurai Vaigai Express scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 13.20 hrs. will leave Chennai Egmore late by 60 minutes.
• Train No.16854 Tiruchchirappalli – Chennai Egmore express scheduled to leave Tiruchchirappalli at 09.35 hrs. will leave Tiruchchirappalli late by 60 minutes.
• Train No. 56041/56042 Tirupati – Puducherry – Tirupati passenger and 56037/56038 Chennai Egmore – Puducherry – Chennai Egmore passenger trains will be partially cancelled between Melmaruvathur and Puducherry.
• Train No.66045/66046 Melmaruvathur – Villupuram – Melmaruvathur (MEMU) passenger trains will be fully cancelled.
• Train No. 12605 Chennai Egmore – Karaikkudi Pallavan Express scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 15.45 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave Chennai Egmore late by 45 minutes.

Allahabad - Anand Vihar T :: Holi Special Trains 2014

Northern railways announced new Holi special trains between Allahabad and Anand Vihar T to avoid extra rush of passengers during the season. Following are the details

• Train No. 04117 / 04118 Allahabad - Anand Vihar T. Holi special train :- Train No. 04117 Allahabad - Anand Vihar T. Holi special train will depart from Allahabad on 19.03.2014 and 22.03.2014 (02 trips) at 11.45 p.m. to reach Anand Vihar T at 09.45 a.m. the next day. Train No. 04118 Anand Vihar T - Allahabad Holi special train will depart from Anand Vihar T on  20.03.2014 and 23.03.2014(02 trips) at 12.00 noon to reach Allahabad at 09.15 p.m. the same day. Composition:- one  AC II  Tier, one A.C.  III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Class and two disabled friendly second class cum Luggage Van (18 coaches). Stoppages:-Fatehpur, Kanpur, Etawah, Tundla, Aligarh and Ghaziabad stations enroute in both directions.

South Central railways announced temporary stoppage for the following six Express Trains at Raigir Station from 8th to 12th March, 2014 for the benefit of pilgrims attending Brahmotsavam festival at Yadgirgutta. Following are the details

• Train No. 17202 Secunderabad - Guntur Golconda Express will arrive/depart Raigir at 13:49/13:50 hrs.
• Train No. 17201 Guntur - Secunderabad Golconda Express will arrive/depart Raigir at 11:50/11:51 hrs.
• Train No. 17233 Secunderabad - Balharshah Bhagyanagar Express will arrive/depart Raigir at 15:54/15:55 hrs.
• Train No. 17234 Balharshah - Secunderabad Bhagyanagar Express will arrive/depart Raigir at 09:00/09:01 hrs.
• Train No. 17035 Secunderabad - Sirpur Kaghaznagar Telengana Express will arrive/depart Raigir at 09:05/09:06 hrs.

ADDITIONAL AC-3 TIER COACH :: 5 EXPRESS TRAINS

Central railways announced additional AC - 3 tier coach for 5 Express Trains permanently. Following are the details

1. Train No. 12111 / 12112 CST – Amaravati Express will be augmented from 21.2.2014 Ex CSTM and from 22.2.2014 Ex Amaravati.
2. Train No. 11404 / 11403 Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) - Nagpur Express will be augmented from 21.2.2014 Ex Kolhapur and from 22.2.2014 Ex Nagpur.
3. Train No. 12136 / 12135 Nagpur – Pune Express will be augmented from 22.2.2014 Ex Nagpur and from 23.2.2014 Ex Pune.
4. Train No. 12143 / 12144 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Sultanpur Express will be augmented from 23.2.2014 Ex LTT and from 24.2.2014 Ex Sultanpur.
5. Train No. 12147 / 12148  Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) – Hazrat Nizamuddin Express will be augmented from 25.2.2014 Ex Kolhapur and from 27.2.2014 Ex Hazrat Nizamuddin.

Central railways announced that new Bi-Weekly Express trains between Mumbai and Kakinada. Following are the details

• Train No. 07222  Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Kakinada Port New Bi-weekly Express Train:- Train no.07222 will run as a Special Train from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 6.2.2014 at 12.25 hrs and will arrive Kakinada Port at 13.45 hrs next day. Stoppages:- Lonavala, Pune, Solapur, Gulbarga, Wadi, Tandur, Lingampalli, Secunderabad, Maula Ali, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude Jn, Settenapalle, Guntur, Mangalagiri, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudam, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Kakinada Town. • Train No. 19715 / 19716 Jaipur- Lucknow Jn.- Jaipur Tri- Weekly Express Train:- Train No. 19715 Jaipur- Lucknow Jn. Tri- Weekly Express train will depart from Jaipur at 9.45 p.m. from 7.2.2014 on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday to reach Lucknow Jn. at 10.25 a.m. the next day. Train No. 19716 Lucknow Jn.- Jaipur Tri- Weekly Express train will depart from Lucknow Jn. at 12.25 noon from 8.2.2014 on every to Monday, Wednesday and Saturday to reach Jaipur at 1.45 a.m. the next day.
