MMTS / APSRTC Ticket Fare Revised

South Central Railway announced that the Fare of Monthly MMTS / APSRTC Combined Ticket Revised. Following are the details.

Due to the increase in Bus fares by Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), the fare for monthly MMTS / APSRTC combined ticket, issued by Railways at all the Hyderabad / Secunderabad MMTS stations. The Ticket fare revised from Rs.700/- to Rs.800/-. The Revised Fare is applicable from 9th November, 2013 on wards.

South Central Rail Fare Increment Details OCT 2013

South Central railways announced that the Train fare will increase from October 7th 2013 due to Fuel Adjustment Component (FAC) increase. This fare increase apply to tickets issued in advance for journeys to commence on or after 7th October, 2013.

REVISED TATKAL FARE :: 1st April,2013

Western Railway published the Revised Tatkal Charges. It will be applicable from 1st April,2013. Following are the details.

Tatkal charges will be charged as

• 10% of Base fare for reserved Second (2S) class 
• 30% of basic fare for all other classes
• Subject to minimum Rs.10/- and maximum Rs.15/- for reserved 2nd sitting (2S)
• Minimum Rs.90/- and Maximum Rs.175/- for sleeper class
• Minimum Rs.100/- and Maximum Rs.200/- for AC Chair Car
• Minimum Rs.250/- and Maximum Rs.350/- for AC 3 tier 
• Minimum Rs.300/- and Maximum Rs.400/- for AC 2 tier and Executive class.

TRAINS REVISED CANCELLATION / CLERKAGE FEE

Western Railway announced that the Cancellation and Clerk-age charges of trains will be revised from April 2013 onward. Following are the details.

The clerk-age charges are leviable on cancellation of unreserved, RAC and Waiting list tickets as well as on cancellation of reserved tickets.

SUPER FAST TRAINS FEE REVISED 2013

Western Railway announced the Reservation Fee and Supplementary charges for Super fast trains will revised from 1st April,2013.

The Enhanced reservation fee which is levied on tickets booked for journey originating from other than the ticket booking station, like return tickets, onward journey tickets, etc. is also withdrawn w.e.f. 1st April, 2013. The revised charges are as under.
