South Western Railway's Safety Department released Safety Magazine called "Jagruthi". It is a Safety Quarterly Magazine for Educating The Employees of South Western Railway on Safety Matters including Rules,Procedures on Safety aspects particularly in train operation.

This Magazine elaborates and emphasizes Railway safe procedures and practices to be followed in day to day working, so as to ensure Safety in Train Operation for Railwaymen. Confidential and Service Register correction slips, Check lists for Inspections of Stations, Cabin, Brake Vans,Track,Level Crossing Gates, Locomotives,Accident Relief Trains,Accident Relief Medical Vans are some of the important subjects dealt in the Magazine.
