Central railways announced new Weekly Express train between Mumbai and Azamgrah. Following are the details
- Train No. 11053 / 11054 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Azamgarh Express:- Train No. 11053 Express will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on every Wed from 17.12.2014 at 16.40 hrs and arrive Azamgarh at 02.15 hrs on third day. Train No. 11054 Express will leave Azamgarh on every Fri from 19.12.2014 at 05.20 hrs and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12.15 hrs next day. Stoppages: Thane, Kalyan, Nasik Road, Bhusaval, Harda, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Allahabad, Janghai, Mariahu, Jaunpur, Shahganj, Khorasan Road and Saraimir. Composition: one AC-2 Tier, Two AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class, 2 General Second Class cum Guard’s brake vans.

Northern railways announced new Daily AC Superfast express trains between New Delhi and Lucknow. Following are the details
- Train No. 12429 / 12430 New Delhi - Lucknow Daily AC super fast express:- Train No. 12429/12430 Daily AC superfast express will be introduced between Lucknow and New Delhi from 15.06.14 ex Lucknow and 16.06.14 from New Delhi as per the following schedules, Train No. 12429 Lucknow - New Delhi AC Superfast Express train will depart from Lucknow daily at 11.30 p.m. from 15.06.2014 to reach New Delhi at 07.30 a.m. the next day. Train No. 12430 New Delhi - Lucknow AC Superfast Express train will depart from New Delhi daily at 11.30 p.m. from 16.06.2014 to reach Lucknow at 07.10 a.m. the same day. Composition: one first AC, 4 AC two-tier and 10 AC three- tier coaches. Stoppages:- Bareilly, Moradabad and Ghaziabad stations enroute in both directions.

- Train No. 22457/22458 H.S.Nanded – Nangaldam – H.S.Nanded Weekly Superfast Express:- Train No. 22457 H.S.Nanded – Nangaldam Weekly Superfast Express will depart H.S.Nanded at 11.00 hrs every Saturday with effect from 5th October 2013 and arrive Nangaldam at 20.25 hrs on the next day. Train No. 22458 Nangaldam – H.S.Nanded Weekly Superfast Express will depart Nangaldam at 16.20 hrs every Thursday with effect from 3rd October 2013 and arrive H.S.Nanded at 23.45 hrs on the next day.

South Central Railway published the introduction of New Weekly Super Fast Experss from Bhubaneswar and Tirupati as already announced in the Railway Budget 2013-14. The Train will start from 14th September 2013 on wards. Following are the details.
- Train No.22879 Bhubaneswar - Tirupati Weekly Super Fast Express will depart Bhubaneswar at 12.00 hrs on Saturdays and arrive Tirupati at 09.25 hrs on the next day.
- Train No.22880 Tirupati - Bhubaneswar Weekly Superfast Express will depart Tirupati at 12.45 hrs on Sundays and arrive Bhubaneswar at 10.10 hrs on the next day.

Shalimar-Bhuj Express will provide another direct connectivity between Kolkata and Gujarat
