SPECIAL TRAINS FOR CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR 2015 - 2016

Indian Railway announced trains as Christmas and New Year 2015 - 2016 Special Trains. South Western Railway announced AC Super Fast weekly special trains between Howrah and Yesvantpur. Western Railway announced Weekly Super Fast Special trains between Bandra and Gandhidham. Southern Railway announced Suvidha Super Fast Special between Chennai Central and Coimbatore, South Central Railway announced special train between Tirupati – Kakinada Port, Super Fast special between Secunderabad and Srikakulam Road, super fast special between Srikakulam Road and Tirupati, Super fast special between Tirupati and Secunderabad and Suvidha Super fast Special between Secunderabad and Yesvantpur. Following are the details.

Christmas - New Year Special Trains 2015 -2016

SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY

• Four A/C Tatkal Super fast Weekly Special Trains : Howrah - Yesvantpur

Train No.00863 Howrah - Yesvantpur AC Super fast Tatkal Special Train will depart Howrah at 12:40 hrs on 18th and 25th December, 2015 (Fridays),arrive/depart Rajahmundry at 05:22/05:24 hrs the next day, Vijayawada at 07:50/08:00 hrs,Nellore at 11:00/11:02 hrs, Renigunta at 15:30/15:45 hrs and arrive Yesvantpur at 23:15 hrs.
Train No.00864 Yesvantpur - Howrah AC Super fast Tatkal Special Train will depart Yesvantpur at 10:45 hrs on 20th and 27th December 2015 (Sundays), arrive/depart Renigunta at 17:30/17:45 hrs, Nellore at 19:50/19:52 hrs, Vijayawada at 23:45/23:55 hrs,  arrive/depart Rajahmundry at 01:45/01:47 hrs and arrive Howrah at 18:30 hrs on the next day.

Halting

Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam and Katpadi stations in both directions.

Composition 

 Four AC II Tier, eleven AC III Tier, and two luggage cum brake van coaches totaling seventeen coaches.

WESTERN RAILWAY

• Train Nos.09455 / 09456  Bandra (T) – Gandhidham – Bandra (T) Weekly Super Fast Special Train (Total 4 services)

Train No.09455 Bandra Terminus - Gandhidham Super fast Weekly Special train will depart Bandra Terminus at 16:00 hrs on 24th and 31st December, 2015 Thursdays and reach Gandhidham at 06.00 hrs the next day.

Train No.09456 Gandhidham – Bandra Terminus Super fast Weekly Special train will depart Gandhidham at 22.05 hrs on 23rd and 30th December, 2015 Wednesdays and will arrive Bandra Terminus at 11.15 hrs the next day.

Halting

Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Samakhiali stations in both directions.

Composition 

AC II Tier, AC III Tier, II Sleeper and II Seating Reserved Coaches.

Reservation

Booking for the above trains already open on 17th December, 2015 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website.These trains will be fully reserved and run on special fare with special charges

SOUTHERN RAILWAY         

• Train Nos.00632/06149 Chennai Central – Coimbatore Suvidha super fast special trains                                                       

Train No.00632 Chennai Central – Coimbatore Suvidha super fast special train will leave Chennai Central at 23.55 hrs on 14.01.2016 and reach Coimbatore at 08.15 hrs the next day.

Train No.06149 Coimbatore – Chennai Central super fast special train will leave Coimbatore at 18.45 hrs on 15.01.2016 and reach Chennai Central at 03.30 hrs the next day.

Composition 

AC 2-tier – 3, AC 3-tier – 3, Sleeper Class – 12 and Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.

Halting

Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode,Tiruppur and Perambur.

SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY

• Train No.07645 Tirupati – Kakinada Port Special Train (1 services)

Train No.07645 Tirupati – Kakinada Port Special train will depart Tirupati at 22:40 hrs on 20th December, 2015 and arrive Kakinada Port at 11:10 hrs on the next day.

Halting

Renigunta, Sri Kalahasthi, Gudur, Nellore, ongole, Tenali, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Kaikalur, Akividu, Bhimavaram Town, Tanuku, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Samalkot and Kakinada Town stations.

Composition 

One AC II Tier, one AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, one Second Seating Chair Car and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake van Coaches.

• Train No.02711 Secunderabad – Srikakulam Road Super fast Special Train (1 service)

Train No.02711 Secunderabad - Srikakulam Road Super fast Special train will depart Secunderabad at 23:15 hrs on 24th December, 2015, and arrive Srikakulam Road at 13:30 hrs on the next day.

Halting

Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram stations.

Composition 

One AC II Tier, three AC III Tier, twelve Sleeper Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake van Coaches totaling eighteen coaches.

Train No.02712 Srikakulam Road - Tirupati Super fast Special train will depart Srikakulam Road at 15:00 hrs on 25th December, 2015 and arrive Tirupati at 06:20 hrs on the next day.

Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Anakapalli, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, ongole, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta stations.
