GOLD COINS IN HONOUR OF M.S.SUBBULAKSHMI BY TANISHQ
Jewellery brand Tanishq is going to launch Gold Coins in honour of Bharat Ratna and Ramon Magsaysay Recipient award M.S Subbulakshmi, the famous Carnatic Classical musician .The special gold coins, launched by Tanishq, are available in two, four and eight grams, and come engraved with an image of M.S.Subbulakshmi. "M.S. Subbulakshmi epitomises the rich cultural heritage of our country. Carnatic classical music forms an integral part of our tradition. This initiative is a tribute to this art form,"It pays tribute to the evergreen maestro and the phenomenal contribution she has made to the world of music,"" C.K. Venkataraman, COO, Tanishq, said in a statement.
The gold coins will be available across selected Tanishq showrooms in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad only.Subbulakshmi, known for her mellifluous voice, was also known for her humanitarian work. She died in 2004 at the age of 88.
