FESTIVAL SPECIAL TRAINS  ON KONKAN RAILWAY DURING POOJA/DIWALI 2015

Konkan Railway decided to run Festival Specials 2015 for upcoming Puja and Diwali Festivals 2015. It has been decided to run Special Trains on Konkan Railway route to clear extra rush of passengers during Pooja/ Diwali  Festival in co-ordination with  Central Railway. Following are the details.

Train Details

• Train No.01001/01002 Mumbai CST- Karmali- Mumbai CST Reserved  Special train (Weekly)

Train No.01001 Mumbai CST – Karmali Special Train will leave from  Mumbai CST at 00.20 hrs on 14th , 21st, and 28th October 2015. The train will reach  Karmali  at 12.00 hrs  on same day.

Train No.01002 Karmali – Mumbai CST Special Train will leave from Karmali at 14.20 hrs on 14th , 21st  and 28th October  2015. Train will reach Mumbai CST at 01.20 hrs on next day.

Halting

Dadar,Thane,  Panvel, Roha, Khed,  Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Thivim stations.

Composition

18 Coaches.

• Train No.01003/01004 Mumbai CST - Karmali - Mumbai CST Reserved Special train (Weekly)

Train No.01003 Mumbai CST – Karmali Special Train will leave from  Mumbai CST at 00.20 hrs on 04th, 11th , 18th and 25th November 2015. The train will reach  Karmali  at 11.30 hrs on same day.

Train No.01004 Karmali – Mumbai CST Special Train will leave from Karmali at 14.20 hrs on 04th, 11th, 18th and 25th November 2015. Train will reach Mumbai CST at 01.20 hrs on next day.

Halting

Dadar,Thane,  Panvel, Roha, Khed,  Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi  Road and Thivim stations.

18 Coaches.

• Train No.01095/01096 Dadar – Sawantwadi -Dadar  Reserved  Special train (Tri weekly)

Train No.01095  Dadar – Sawantwadi Special Train will leave from  Dadar at 07.50 hrs on  11th , 13th , 16th , 18th , 20th , 23rd, 25th , 27th and 30th October 2015. The train will reach Sawantwadi at 20.30 hrs on same day.

Train No. 01096  Sawantwadi – Dadar  Special Train will leave from  Sawantwadi at 04.50 hrs on 12th , 14th , 17th , 19th 21st , 24th , 26th 28th and 31st October 2015. The train will reach Dadar at 15.50 hrs on same day.

Halting

Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed,  Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Road, Sangmeshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali Vilavade, Rajapur Road,  Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal and Zarap stations.

REOPENING OF NERAL - MATHERAN SECTION

Central Railway announced that Railway has decided to reopen Neral - Matheran section for passenger traffic with effect from 15.10.2015 as the same was closed during monsoon season.

Sunday Mega Block on November 08 Mumbai

Central railways announced that Mumbai local trains will face Mega Block on this Sunday November 08 2015.
Mega block affected on both Central Line and Harbour Line of Central Railways. Mega block will affect the daily passenger travel convinence. But during the block time Central railways announced for running some special trains for the easiness of passenger movement.

Central Line Mega Block affected Locations : Thane - Kalyan between 11:15 AM and 3:15 PM

Harbour Line Mega Block affected Locations : Panvel - Nerul between 11.00 AM and 03.00 PM

Western railways announced night time special Mumbai Local Trains for the Ganpati Immersion during the 27 / 28  night falling time.

South Central Railways announced new special trains between Secunderabad and Guwahati to avoid extra rush of passengers during the season. Following are the details

• Train No. 07149 / 07150 Secunderabad - Guwahati Special Train:- Train No. 07149 Secunderabad - Guwahati Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 07:30 hrs on 18th, 25th September and 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th October, 2015 (Fridays) and arrive Guwahati at 08:15 hrs on the second day.
