Northern railways announced that Railway has decided to increase in frequency of running of train no. 09627/09628 Ajmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla - Ajmer Superfast special from Weekly to Tri-weekly with immediate effect up to 31.03.2014. Following are the details

• Train No. 09627/09628 Ajmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Ajmer Superfast special train will run on every Wednesday, Saturday and Monday (Tri-weekly) instead of Wednesday (weekly) with immediate effect upto 31.03.2014.

All the other related details like timings, stoppages, composition, route etc. will remain unchanged.

Trains Cancelled Due To Traffic Blocks

Northern railways announced that Trains Cancelled Due To Traffic Blocks. In view of rebuilding of Bridge No. 69 and 66 over Delhi Division on Northern Railway, there will be 4 nos. of Mega Power and Traffic Blocks of 04 hrs. each on 08.03.2014 (Saturday)  from 10.20 a.m. to 02.20 p.m. between Sampla - Asaudah and from 10.20 a.m. to 02.20 p.m. between Asaudah – Bahadurgarh and on 09.03.2014 (Sunday) from 08.45 a.m. to 12.45 noon between Asaudah- Sampla stations, the following train scheduled to run on the section will remain temporarily cancelled on the nominated days as under:- 

Cancellation Of Train on 08.03.2014 and 09.03.2014 

• Train No. 14323/14324 New Delhi - Rohtak Express will remain cancelled on 08.03.2014 and 09.03.2014.  Speed restriction of 20 k mph will be imposed as a safety measure on the above location on 08.03.2014 and 09.03.2014.

Experimental Trains Stop :: Udupi

Konkan railways announced to provide halt for Train no. 12483 / 12484 Amritsar - Kochuveli Exp and Train no. 12288 / 12287 Dehradun – Kochuveli Express at Udupi station on an experimental basis for a period of 3 months w.e.f 5 - 3 - 2014 to 4 - 6 - 2014.

•  Train no. 12288 Dehradun - Kochuveli Exp will halt at Udupi at 0110 hrs and Train no. 12287 Kochuveli – Dehradun Exp will halt at Udupi station at 2144 hrs.
• Train no. 12484 Amritsar-Kochuveli Exp will halt at Udupi at 0110 hrs and Train no. 12483 Kochuveli – Amritsar Exp will halt at Udupi station at 2144 hrs.

ANAND VIHAR - GORAKHPUR :: HOLI SPECIAL TRAINS 2014

Northern railways announced new Holi Special trains between Gorakhpur and Anand Vihar to clear the extra rush of passengers during the festival season. Following are the details

• Train No. 05027 Gorakhpur- Anand Vihar (Tri-weekly) Holi Special Train:-Train No. 05027 Gorakhpur- Anand Vihar (Tri-weekly) Holi Special Train will depart from Gorakhpur at 08.30 p.m. on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday i.e. on 15.03.14, 18.03.14, 20.03.14 and 22.03.14 respectively (4 Trips ) to reach Anand Vihar T at 12.25 noon the next day.Train No. 05028 Anand Vihar – Gorakhpur (Tri-weekly) Holi Special Train will depart from Anand Vihar at 01.50 p.m. on every Wednesday, Friday & Sunday i.e. on 16.03.14, 19.03.14, 21.03.14 and 23.03.14 respectively (4 Trips ) to reach Gorakhpur at 05.30 a.m. the next morning. Composition:-one AC III Tier, six sleeper class, eight general class besides second class disabled friendly coach cum luggage van, the 05027/05028  Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Holi Special train will stop at Khalilabad, Basti, Mankapur Jn., Gonda, Lucknow and Moradabad stations enroute in both directions.

Additional Stoppage for 5 Express Trains

South Central railways announced additional stoppages for 5 express trains more. Following are the details

1. Train No. 16593 / 16594 H.S. Nanded-Bangalore- H.S. Nanded Express is provided with an additional stoppage at Nagarur station with effect from 6th March, 2014 on experimental basis for a period of three months. Accordingly, Train No. 16593 H.S. Nanded-Bangalore Express  will arrive / depart Nagarur at 20:28 / 20:29 hrs. In the return direction, Train No. 16594 Bangalore- H.S. Nanded Express will arrive / depart Nagarur at 07:05 / 07:06 hrs
2. Train No. 12710 / 12709 Secunderabad-Gudur-Secunderabad Simhapuri Express is provided with an additional stoppage at Madhira station with effect from 6th March, 2014 on experimental basis for a period of three months. Accordingly, Train No. 12710 Secunderabad – Gudur Simhapuri Express will arrive / depart Madhira at 02:52 / 20:53 hrs. In the opposite direction, train no. 12709 Gudur-Secunderabad Simhapuri Express will arrive / depart Madhira at 02:21 / 02:22 hrs.
3. Train No. 18048 / 18047 Vasco-da-Gama-Howrah-Vasco-da-gama Amaravati Express is provided with an additional stoppage at Betamcherla station with effect from 6th March, 2014 on experimental basis for a period of three months. Accordingly, Train No. 18048 Vasco-da-gama-Howrah Amaravati Express will arrive / depart Betamcherla at 19:12 / 19:13 hrs. In the opposite direction, train no. 18047 Howrah-Vasco-da-gama Amaravati Express will arrive / depart Betamcherla at 01:48 / 01:49 hrs.
4. Train No. 11303 / 11304 Hyderabad-CSMT Kolhapur-Hyderabad Express is provided with additional stoppage at Kosgi station with effect from 6th March, 2014 on an experimental basis for a period of three months. Accordingly, Train No. 11303 Hyderabad-CSMT Kolhapur Express will arrive / depart Kosgi at 05:52 / 05:53 hrs. In the return direction, Train No. 11304 CSMT Kolhapur-Hyderabad Express will arrive / depart Kosgi at 22:52 / 22:53 hrs.
5. Train No. 12649 / 12650 Yesvantpur-Nizamuddin-Yesvantpur Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express is provided with additional stoppage at Kurnool City stations with effect from 6th March, 2014 on an experimental basis for a period of three months. Accordingly, Train No. 12649 Yesvantpur-Nizamuddin Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express will arrive / depart Kurnool City at 04:25 / 04:27 hrs. In the return direction, Train No. 12650 Nizamuddin-Yesvantpur Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express will arrive / depart Kurnool City at 11:05 / 11:07 hrs.

Western railways announced new Holi special trains between Mumbai Central and Hazrat Nizamuddin to avid extra rush of passengers during the season. Following are the details

• Train no 04091 / 04092 Mumbai Central – Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly AC Superfast special train:- Train no 04091 Mumbai Central – Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly AC Superfast special train will depart from Mumbai Central at 00.05 hrs on every Saturday and reach Nizamuddin at 23.50 hrs on the same day. This train will run from 08th March to 29th March, 2014.  Train no 04092 H. Nizamuddin - Mumbai Central Weekly AC Superfast special train will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 23.30 hrs on every Thursday and reach Mumbai Central at 22.10 hrs on the next day. This train will run from 06th March to 27th March, 2014. Stoppages:-  Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Dahod, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur city & Mathura Jn stations in both the directions. Composition:- AC First Class, AC II Tier and AC III Tier Coaches.
