South Eastern Railway announced on 15-04-2013 that Railway introduced 3 New trains and will introduce 2 new trains.
New Train List
- Haldia-Anand Vihar Weekly Superfast Express
- Santragachi-Bagnan EMU local
- Santragachi-Panskura EMU local
- Shalimar-Bhuj Weekly Superfast Express which will run from 20.04.2013
- Mathnasipur-Masagram DEMU Passenger which will run from 16.04.2013.
The Haldia-Anand Vihar Express will connect East Midnapur District of West Bengal to the National Capital
Shalimar-Bhuj Express will provide another direct connectivity between Kolkata and Gujarat
The two pairs of
new EMUs will be immensely beneficial for the people of
Bagnan and Panskura.
The Mathnashipur-Masagram DEMU Passenger will run from on the newly constructedrailway line of 10.2 kms from Mathnashipur to Masagramand will provide a direct connectivity from Bankura to Howrah via Masagram

Northern Railway announced
Four and a half hours PRS block during nights of 14th and 15th April,2013 in Delhi PRS from
10.30pm to 03.00am on the midnight of
14-04-2013 and 15-04-2013.
Four and Half hours PRS(Computerized Passenger Reservation System) is due to up gradation work.
Because of the PRS Block all PRS related enquiry of
Delhi PRS through IVRS/Touch Screen, Call Center (Telephone No.139) will remain closed.

Indian Railway aims to achieve a place in public heart as a part of this Northern Railway introduced Janta Khana in trains and stations. It is providing Economical, wholesome and hygienic meals to the passengers.
About the Food
The Janta Khana consists of 7 Puris of 175gm and Aloo dry curry of 150gm and pickle.
About Packing
Northern Railway also improved packing standards of the Janta Khana and is ensuring that the Aloo sabzi is packed in a plastic disposable bowl covered with silver foil and the Puris are packed in silver foil before the two are placed in a cardboard box for sale to the passengers.
Rates
Janta Khana is being sold at an economical rate of Rs. 15/- which is printed on the box and also indicated on top of the Cardboard box.
Daily 14 to 15 thousand Janta Khana is being sold on stations in Delhi area.

Western Railway introduces New Express train between Dwarka and Somnath from 12th April 2013. Following are the details.
Train Details
- Train No. 19251 Somnath – Dwarka Express will depart from Somnath at 22.40 hrs every day from 12th April, 2013 to reach Dwarka at 07.00 hrs the next day.
- Train No. 19252 Dwarka – Somnath Express will depart from Dwarka at 20.40 hrs every day from 13th April, 2013 to reach Somnath at 05.15 hrs the next day.
Halting
Veraval, Keshod, Junagadh Jn, Jetalsar, Gondal, Rajkot, Hapa, Jamnagar, Khambhaliya and Bhatiya stations in both the directions.
Composition
AC 3 tier; II class sleeper and II class general coaches.
Reservation
The booking of inaugural Train No. 09252 and regular Train Nos. 19252/ 19251 will open from Tuesday, 9th April, 2013.

Western Railway announced New 79456/79455 Chota Udepur- Vadodara DEMU Service from 8th April,2013 and Ex Chota Udepur and from 9th April, 2013 Ex Vadodara. The inaugural service will be run as Train No.79456 Ex Chota Udepur at 15.30 hrs on 8th April, 2013. It will reach Vadodara at 18.45 hrs the same day.
