Minister of Railway Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu dedicated the Newly developed Deen Dayalu Coache to the nation at a simple programme held at New Delhi Railway Station on 19.07.2016. The introduction of Deen Dayalu coaches was announced by Shri Suresh Prabhu in Rail Budget 2016-17. In compliance to Budget commitment, first Deen Dayalu Coach No. SR16418 has been manufactured by Integral Coach Factory/Chennai.

Train No.08505 Rayagada - Krishna Canal - Rayagada special train will depart Rayagada at 14:30 hrs on 11th, 16th, 19th and 22nd August, 2016 and arrive Krishan Canal at 04:15 hrs on the next day.
In the return direction, Train No.08506 Krishna Canal – Rayagada special train will depart Krishna Canal at 20:45 hrs on 12th, 17th, 20th and 23rd August, 2016 and arrive Rayagada at 09:00 hrs on the next day.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR SHRAVANI MELA BY RAILWAY
Eastern Railway announced that to cater to the heavy rush of pilgrims during ‘Shravani Mela’ at Baidyanath Dham, Eastern Railway will run 190 pairs of special trains including 136 pairs and 54 pairs on different routes from 20.7.2016 to 19.8.2016. Following are the details.

FIRST TIME TABLED CONTAINER LAUNCHED : INDIAN RAILWAY
Indian Railway Minster Suresh Prabhu announced on 15th June,2016 the first Time Tabled container train services from Domestic container Terminal (Okhla) Delhi and run to the ICD, Whitefield in Bengaluru. This tabled container train will reduce turnaround time significantly and offer assured transit time while being environment friendly.

Up to now freight service is being run without any time table. Once the time table is prepared, freight trains are expected to reach their destinations within a specified time helping the market in knowing delivery schedules.

South Eastern Railway announced that the special Train Nos.12891/12892 Bangriposi - Bhubaneswar Express extended to run upto Puri on and from 06.07.2016 to 16.07.2016 on the eve of Rath Yatra Festival.
Train No.12891 Bangriposi - Puri Express depart from Bangriposi at 04.20 hrs and reach Puri at 12.05 hrs.
Train No.12892 Puri - Bangriposi Express depart from Puri at 14.45 hrs and reach at Bangriposi 22.50 hrs.
