Northern railways announced new special trains between Amritsar and Nanded to avoid extra rush of passengers during the season. Following are the details
- Train No. 04602 / 04601 Amritsar-Nanded- Amritsar Weekly Premium “Super fast” (16 trips):-Train No. 04602 Amritsar-Nanded Weekly Premium “Super fast” Summer Special will depart from Amritsar from 07.05.2014 to 26.06.2014 (08 trips on every Wednesday) at 02.30 p.m. to reach Nanded at 11.45 p.m.(midnight) the next day. Train No. 04601 Nanded - Amritsar Weekly Premium “Super fast” Special will depart from Nanded from 09.05.2014 to 27.06.2014 (08 trips on every Friday) at 11.15 a.m. to reach Amritsar at 10.30 p.m. the next day. Composition:- A.C III Tier and sleeper class coaches. Stoppages:- at Ludhiana, New Delhi, Jhansi, Bhopal & Akola stations enroute in both the directions.

- Train No. 04905 / 04906 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Ashok Nagar unreserved special train:-Train No. 04906 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Ashok Nagar unreserved special train will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla on 11.04.14 (01 trip) at 11.45 noon to reach Ashok Nagar at 05.30 a.m. the next day. Train No. 04905 Ashok Nagar- Delhi Sarai Rohjilla unreserved special train will depart from Ashok Nagar on 15.04.14 (01 trip) at 03.30 p.m. to reach Delhi Sarai Rohjilla at 05.50 a.m. the next day. Composition:- eighteen General Class and two Second Class cum Luggage Van coaches. Stoppages:- New Delhi, Faridabad, Palwal, Mathura Jn., Agra Cantt., Jhansi& Bina stations enroute in both directions.

Northern railways announced new Daily AC Superfast express trains between New Delhi and Lucknow. Following are the details
- Train No. 12429 / 12430 New Delhi - Lucknow Daily AC super fast express:- Train No. 12429/12430 Daily AC superfast express will be introduced between Lucknow and New Delhi from 15.06.14 ex Lucknow and 16.06.14 from New Delhi as per the following schedules, Train No. 12429 Lucknow - New Delhi AC Superfast Express train will depart from Lucknow daily at 11.30 p.m. from 15.06.2014 to reach New Delhi at 07.30 a.m. the next day. Train No. 12430 New Delhi - Lucknow AC Superfast Express train will depart from New Delhi daily at 11.30 p.m. from 16.06.2014 to reach Lucknow at 07.10 a.m. the same day. Composition: one first AC, 4 AC two-tier and 10 AC three- tier coaches. Stoppages:- Bareilly, Moradabad and Ghaziabad stations enroute in both directions.

- Train No. 09415 / 09416 Ahmedabad - Indore Weekly Special :- Train No. 09415 Ahmedabad - Indore Weekly Special will leave Ahmedabad at 23.20 hrs on every Friday and will reach Indore at 10.15 hrs the next day from 11th April, 2014 to 27th June, 2014. Train No. 09416 Indore - Ahmedabad Weekly Special will leave Indore at 10.55 hrs on every Saturday and will reach Ahmedabad at 21.50 hrs on same day from 12th April, 2014 to 28th June, 2014. Composition:- AC 2 Tier, AC 3 tier and Second Class sleeper and Second Class general coaches. Stoppages:- Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain and Dewas stations in both the directions.

This train will run from 02nd April to 28th May, 2014. Train no 09609 Ajmer - Surat Weekly special train will depart from Ajmer at 05.55 hrs on every Wednesday and reach Surat at 20.55 hrs on the same day. This train will run from 02nd April to 28th May, 2014. Stoppages:- Bharuch, Vadodara, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Mandasor, Nimach, Chittaurgarh, Bhilwara, Bijainagar and Nasirabad stations in both the directions.
